Every client is important and to be honest, I spend quite a bit of time thinking about them and their lives, regardless of who they are and how old. A lot of the time it’s cancer which kind of keeps me in a constant state of ‘thinking about Mum’. I don’t really post about individuals as I’m not sure it’s my place. I feel that families will share what they want, when they want, with who they want.
This last week, I will say, that it’s been quite emotional. Young people, taken by cancer and leaving a lot of heartbreak behind – 💔 – Very close to home.
If you can, please support individuals affected by cancer in any way that you can. Their families as well. When Mum was dying, we were supported by many people and one in particular – 😉 you know who you are – sort of silent warrior. Cooking meals and looking after kids is possibly one of the most overlooked and undervalued types of support one can provide to people struggling with grief and impending loss.
And if you’re in a position to make financial contributions you can check out Cancer Council https://zurl.co/WDor
PS. The photo is Mum, watering her garden to the last…
