There is a minor surcharge for certain locations outside this area due to transport costs. Remember we are always happy to provide a free quote for your address when it suits you.

* Transport includes collection during normal business hours from a hospital or facility in Stanthorpe/Warwick Service Area. Note that collection from outside this area will attract a surcharge. Collection from a private residence requires extra assistance and a $220 fee (as shown in the Add-on Pricing section below) applies.

✝︎ Please note that burial fees charged by the cemetery are simply passed on to our clients at the rates charged to us. Prices vary depending on whether a plot has been reserved, when it was reserved and the cemetery where the plot is located. As a guide, for new unreserved plots within Southern Downs, they range from around $3000 - $5500.

NB.Does not include dressing. If your person is at hospital or a nursing home, please ask nursing staff if they can dress your person prior to any cooling. Rest does not offer embalming or reconstruction services and while we can facilitate and support you to keep your person at home, we do not offer viewing after we have made collection.

    Rest can provide you with support to vigil at home, hire of table, cooling plate and techni ice as well as provide natural after death care including washing/shrouding/dressing (3 days).

  • Techni Ice (10 Pack)

    Techni ice sheets are 25 x 40 cm and can be frozen down to dry ice temperatures. They can be used to aid in the cooling / maintaining temperature when wanting to keep their loved one at home longer. They can also be used inside a Daisybox during a service and when transferring to a crematorium.

  • Bios Urn

    An all in one system designed to grow a tree in the ground, incorporating the ashes of your loved one in an enduring memorial of new life (NB. Tree is not included and a seed for a suitable tree needs to be considered).

  • Cooling Plate

    For those wanting to stand vigil with their loved one after death, a cooling plate can be hired for use at home. As has been done for many years in Europe, cooling plates can also be used underneath a casket during a home funeral.

  • Service Booklets

    Funeral service booklets. Full colour, 4 page booklets made with consultation with our team (cost is artwork and printing up to 20 booklets / discounts apply beyond 50 booklets)

  • Video Tribute

    Preparation of a video tribute approximately 3-6 minutes duration (Images a choice of music should be supplied at least 3 days prior to the service).
