Transfer Van is a vehicle used to respectfully transport a person who has died from the place of death to a funeral home’s care or another appropriate facility.
Unlike a hearse, a transfer van is not designed for funeral processions or ceremonies. Its purpose is to provide safe, dignified and discreet transportation as part of the normal care process.
