English Oak

English Oak trees are a wonderful choice for a memorial and can be planted year round in our region, but require tree guard for the first couple of years. Protection from frost is important as seedlings, but will give many years of enjoyment with oaks ranging from 100-500 years.

Japanese Maple

Queensland Kauri

A very fast growing evergreen native, lacking side branches on the lower trunk, it takes up very little space. An excellent choice to remember a loved one.

Funerals can be quite costly for the environment. The energy required to produce timber coffins, chemicals used in bonding, fuel used in transport... it all adds up.

Combined with a non toxic Daisybox, reclaimed fabric casket liners from our wonderful local community group, Boomerang Bags, are a great way to keep making the right choices for the environment, after we're gone.
