A Warwick funeral unlike many others. This week I had the privilege of supporting a family with the final care of their mum. With the help of Debbie, from The Last Chapter, the family were advised on how they could keep Mum at home overnight and spend that time with her, saying their last goodbyes in whatever way that might be.
While I spoke with them a few times on the phone, I hadn’t had the chance to meet till arriving the next morning for the collection. What a family. A unified front, supporting one another in their time of need. Coming together to give their mum a ‘good death’ for want of a better term. It reminded me so much of my own experience just over a year ago.
I didn’t know your mum, but from what was written all over the Daisybox – and it was completely covered – I can tell she was one of a kind. You guys did an amazing job at an incredibly tough time and I am sure she’d be incredibly proud of you.
A funeral in Warwick doesn’t have to be what other people tell you it needs to be. There is no one way to have a funeral and if you’re looking for someone to answer any questions regarding what you want, please get in touch today.
